So the whole let's meet for a drink thing is nerve racking. It seems more like an interview and less fun. So lately, I like to go do an activity like pool, TopGolf, or bowling. It takes longer but it's a great ice breaker and I'm not staring at you wondering what I should ask you.

I think a good first date would be extremely casual. Something similar to Dave and Busters where you can eat and play. Laid back and comfortable.

Conversation over a game of pool or a bucket of balls or a walk by the water. Notice ... conversation is comes first but I think a little activity on the side can take a bit of the pressure off (helping us to naturally have a laugh and avoid falling into the first date as interview trap).

My first date idea would be to do something that gives me and my date an opportunity to get know each other but have fun as well. So things such as zip lining, hiking or bowling I am game. I would just want to do something different. The dinner and a movie idea okay but I love dates that have an element of surprise to them.
