Comedy club and a play, followed by dinner at a nice restaurant! A stroll in the park or a long walk sightseeing historic buildings and venues! The beginning of a never end, all the journeys of a ring and the story it defines!

I think something like live theater or comedy clubs are a good first date. I'm not a great conversationist with people I barely know so this takes the preassure off. I know that sounds a little lame and I should have more game than that but my secret weapon is that most people forget I was like that after they get to know me ;)

I love art, but I don't quite understand a lot of modern art or performance art. That doesn't change the fact that I love going to see both. I think a fun first date would be to find some absurd modern art exhibition or an interpretive performance. If for no other reason, they give a lot of talking points lol

There is really no best first date ideas. Who's to say a hot air balloon ride is any better than taking in a hockey game...or an afternoon(or early morning in East Texas heat) on the gun range. I'm comfortable with many adventures...wake up...wanna go crabbing down on the coast...let's go!
