First is to meet for coffee. If there is any connection hopefully it shows up over a cup a java. Then maybe get asked out for an actual date. Nice dinner out or else any live theatre or music or maybe Cirque production would be fun!

Something less traditional then just dinner, maybe an interactive dinner with a cabaret would be enjoyable.

Exploring downtown Minneapolis or seeing a art/museum exhibit....a good chance to get to know each other but with distractions so it doesn't get too weird!

An adult outing is appropriate. Maybe reservations to a restaurant we have been meaning to try. We could check out a show. I’m open to anything but coffee lol.

A Saturday or Sunday date at the Kennedy Center. This can be an affordable first date or an extravagant Nth date. The Kennedy Center has a range of performances, some of which are free. There are also free tours and within a short shuttle ride (great for those who don't drive) and walk, there is a variety of dinning locations. For those who love the preforming arts, or just who want to impress those who do, this is a great option to show you have really thought about a memorable first date.

One of my favorite things to do is to go to plays. I would love to go out to dinner with someone, then a play. Then go for coffee or dessert and chat about what we've seen.

Well, after we meet for coffee or something simple, I'd say a nice dinner and comedy show (not necessarily in that order). Dinner provides time to chat about life, love and the pursuit. A comedy show allows a relaxed, pressure free environment to have some fun.

Would have to be short and sweet. A cup of coffee and some conversation. But the 2nd date would be a romantic dinner w/ several hours of conversation.

Any place a person is comfortable in their own skin in being themselves; be that the Movies, Dinner, Coffee Shop or a Broadway Play. Some place that you are not outside your comfort zone or I and making each other work hard at trying to fill the emptiness when word or interest is lost to bad Karma and that place that makes people want to dig a hole and jump in and call it quits. I enjoy meeting people and finding out the best that anyone has to give to life and make the most of all my time on a first date. Pleasantries are not in a place but the people that cross our path and help makes me a better person and realizing something about myself or improving my character.
