A warm sunny day-/or a breezy windy day- a walk in the park or hike. Fishing perhaps or visiting the Botanical Gardens. then to a nice Lunch or Dinner- then a late movie to get cozied up to. Then home for body on body relaxation, massage, appreciation of each our bodies- finally falling asleep together waking up arms wrapped around us the next morning.

My first date is to go somewhere that is not typical. I'm pretty spontaneous and I really don't like the typical dinner movie thing. You cant really get to know a person if you can't speak with the.

Something where we can get to know a bit about each other, so not a movie. I prefer a casual outing - pizza, Museum of Natural History, that sort of thing. And an agreed upon end time.

I think a trip to the Zoo would be a fun start to a date, and then finish it off with dinner and wine at a cozy restaurant.

Meet for coffee or a drink. Take a walk on the beach. Visit a museum. Create the opportunity to share yourself and learn about the other. It all starts with having a conversation.

There are always interesting and thought provoking exhibits and nice places to eat there at the museum. It usually creates a lot of opportunity to talk and learn things about someone you are just meeting.

I would like to go to the National Harbor and walk around a bit and grab a bit to eat and maybe continue the evening with a drink or two.

I enjoy talking and doing things with the other person. I think the event or location is secondary to the person that you are spending time with.

Winter:
A stroll through downtown, getting something warm and tasty at a nearby coffee shop, maybe hit up a museum (natural history is always a favourite because no matter how old I get, dinosaurs will always be cool) or a gallery to escape the weather. That or hit the slopes- nothing says 'good times' like strategically falling down a big arse hill!
Summer:
Checking out one of the many local festivals or a picnic in the park, tossing around a Frisbee (I'm awful at Frisbee and yet I just can't help myself) and just enjoying the sunshine.

There is always something within walking distance of where I live in San Jose. Its' nearby lots of eatery. Everything from queue up & no reservations, to trendy, to white table cloth service. It's possible to just trip out to the city for an afternoon. I don't drink so going to a bar is never my first choice. Being designated is best in moderation.
