Have a nice dinner at a place we have neither been. Try something exotic. Go for a nice walk after words. Hopefully by the end of the night, we have learned more about each other.

My idea first date would be to not spend it sharing information about each other, but to pick an interested activity of both and enjoy it to the fullest; actions speak louder than words!

I am not an overly romantic person. I enjoy hanging out. My perfect first date would be something cheesy like a round of mini-golf or going to an arcade. I enjoy cooking, so a night in with great food and wine would be awesome!

MMFA currently has an exhibition of Egyptian Mummies, I think that would be a great first date, and would avoid the 'interview' feel of sitting across from each other over coffee or drinks.

Brunch on the beach. After brunch we would go jetsking.

A good first date would be going to a local museum. Where we can walk and talk. If things get a little ackward we can just browse the exhibits; this may offer some spark to further conversation.

I said anywhere historic because if we hit it off, we will be making history. Locate a place of mutual interest, that would allow us to talk and get to know each other, but to also learn something new together. Hopefully the beginning of a friendship and more. . . .

I think the first date should be somewhere that is quiet. Not monastery quiet but a place where we both can feel relaxed. Maybe a setting with running water or gardens.

Maybe we will have a drink on the deck of the pub down the road, or a walk around the lake. We could meet at the Mysctic Mug, sit by the fire place and have coffee if it's raining. OR, something you might like to do, a walk around the sea wall, people watching down town? Just let me know.

This is a lame question. Dates in general are lame. If we cant just meet casually for a drink, or a day at the beach, or a night out with friends, I'm generally worried.
Lets be casual, and have fun! If we mesh well, then we can talk about cooking in or dining out somewhere fun! I love to wine and dine, but I'm not Mr. Belvedere; as far as I'm concerned, a first "date" is about getting to know someone, not a free meal :).
