FIRST DATE IDEAS FROM MEMBERS

My friends have an awesome band and we can check out a show,we could check out a restaurant or maybe a hike,lets figure it out.

After a few phone calls let’s get coffee or a drink and decide from there. Honestly pretty much open to anything where we can spend time getting to know each other. Dinner, a Hike, or simply go cruising up to the mountains for a few hours. Any venue where we can talk openly and be comfortable. I am just as comfortable taking lead on the planning as I am letting you choose.

Something active

I've always had sort of a fantasy about taking my lady to a GWAR show when they came around. There we would stand, my arms around you and your hands in the air grasping invisible oranges, all the while we are being blasted in the face by liters fake blood from Blothar's weenie udders as Bonesnapper the cave troll disembowels Donald Trump in effigy. We'd have to build up to that I imagine. How about something else? While still dark on a spring morning we make our way to the mountains. Twilight now and at the terminus of an old logging road we disembark setting out on foot further into the dim elysia. Our breath hangs in the air ahead of us like a cold yet familiar spirit beckoning us further in. The first coppery rays of morning sunlight pierce the marine layer as we exit the tree line into a meadow. Pulling out the thermos of boiling hot hot chocolate I fill your mug and mine as you retrieve our field sketch books from your pack. Now warmed by both the chocolate and the strengthening sun we make our way across the grass, damp, verdant and quiet underfoot, spending the rest of the morning in search of the perfect wild flower to paint. Or let’s learn how to toss pizza dough, or hire an entomologist to let us handle bugs and creepy crawlies, or let’s build a forge in my back yard and do some casting (what’s hotter on a date than molten metal?). Or let’s just stay in and have a couple of beers and watch All Dogs Go To Heaven. Ooh, I’ve got another one. It’s the doldrums of summer, sweaty and sticky. Okay so we get my dad’s truck and drive up to the mountain. We’ll load up the back with snow and bring it back into town so we can build a snowman. Are you keeping up? I can go on like this all day *narrows eyes and furls brow* allllll day.

I always have the most fun when going to a concert. Not that I expect that to be a regular event but it's my absolute favorite. Enjoying and singing along to the music, the energy and dancing. And being able to share that with someone, would be that much better.

I learn your favorite tune on Guitar and play it for you. If you want, you sing along. Then we have a glass of Champagne before having a great dinner and a great conversation.

3 days at Disney with different meals from many countries

I would like to meet someone who would enjoy a dinner out and a movie, music venue, play or perhaps a hand-in-hand stroll. However, I welcome the opportunity to share your thoughts and preferences.

A walk, a chat in a cafe, a shared listening to live music? All good.

I LOVE live music and checking out new events.

How about we go see some live music?

I love live music , such as a pub with a live acoustic artist playing or somewhere with some indie/alternative/punk or whatever we can find, live music is always a fun time. Maybe some drinks. Or alternatively, somewhere maybe a little less loud for a first date so we can talk :P

Well it really depends on the other person since i enjoy so many things. I do like live music even though it is hard to talk through it. But body language says more then words anyway. We could first meet for coffee then walk on beach and if we are both feeling it go to live music and a wine or so.

Music is everything to me

One of us will have just arrived at the dive bar wearing a leather (or veggie leather) jacket. and smell like cigarettes and incense. The other will be shy about how hard their going to go in the pit (or dance) tonight. We're both nervous because this is our first actual date, aside from hang outs to feel out each other's company. We hang out and laugh and blush a lot and flirt sweetly then the band starts and the drinks hit us both and the music is so good and we just let go on the dance floor. By the end of the night (If we're gonna go full nick and Nora's infinite playlist then the early morning) We'll be laughing and developing a good relationship with honest open communication and a lot of fun. We'll get bar food or teriyaki and eat it somewhere with a view and chat. You'll laugh at my quirks and I'll laugh at yours. We'll develop a closer middle ground on music, because I liked the third band, but you thought they were trying too hard. We'll be able to have discussions and support opposing views as well as find a lot of things we agree about. We'll both think the other was really sexy, but be too shy to blatantly check the other out. And before the end of the night we'll hug close, and for a long time, and be at least certain of a new friend ship to be fleshed out and explored later. But anything just as sweet would be cool too. I'm not picky. :3

Beautiful food. No pressure. Maybe a drink, I don't care. I could hike, ski, laser tag, or play checkers at Cracker Barrel in a best of 7 tournament!! Whatever gets us some eye contact.

I love to laugh and for 4 years laughter has been missing from my life somewhat. I'd love to go to a comedy show. Its an easy ice breaker, fun and casual date.
