FIRST DATE IDEAS FROM MEMBERS

Lots of talking and if we are a great match, it should be at least a short make out session. I don't have time for moochers, but always have time for authenticity.

I don't really drink much alcohol but I enjoy a good coffee, tea, boba and the like. Meet at a coffee house that's not too loud?

I drive for a living so if its a dinner theater or even a play, concert, or just a drive through our rocky mountains, God I'll never get tired of snow covered caps.

Start with coffee then hit the water. Maybe just an hour or two for the first date. Just coffee and a walk, maybe feed the ducks.

I often look after my brother's beautiful border collie/kelpie cross and love beach walking with her - throwing the ball and just watching her focus fills me with love and joy. I'd enjoy sharing that with someone else & chatting while we do it

The best kind of date, is when we know each other. I can plan a nice time together, according to what we really like to do together. It could be something as simple as a dog walk in a park, to a romantic dinner. It depends on our chemistry, and “where we are”.

I like to keep it simple, a casual breakfast or lunch someplace that we felt comfortable and could sit and visit awhile then go from there.

Let's start with a coffee to break the ice and get to know one another. Maybe we can set up another date, or if there's time, go for a walk.

Something quiet and laid back . I am pretty easy going and not too demanding or fussy. Walk around town and coffee or a meal..Very simple

Getting to know each other and energy are BOTH important to me. Let's make the time count, see how we vibe, and make some unique 'first' moments in our time together. Something chill (winebar, small music venues). Jazz is my favorite for chatting- there's only one voice I need to focus on - and that's yours. Something active/fun (miniature golf, bowling, dance lessons). Something memorable (site-seeing/exploring, something from your imagination). Surprise me! If it's safe and reasonable, I'm game! :)

I love coffee! A mocha and conversatation is a great way to start. We could even meet at a park for a walk or just sitting at a bench for a casual conversation.

An ideal date would be anything that involves interaction and conversation. Could be dinner on a patio, seeing live music, going for a walk/farmers market/brunch… the sky is really the limit here.

Dinner downtown. Walk to CAC and see what they have curated for us. Someplace with a great cocktail selection but has an atmosphere we can chat in, or Graeter's, to chat and see what's next.

A nice meal or somthing stress free , movies are always good or a DVD pizza and pop corn, although a love a good steak or crayfish giong out

Let's go do a fun activity. Bowling, mini golf, maybe an arcade, or even one of those axe throwing places if you're feeling adventurous. Something with no pressure where we can just be ourselves and have fun. I'm not trying to impress you with some fancy dinner where we're sitting across from each other in awkward silence wondering what to say next. I want us to actually DO something together, you know? There's something about a little friendly competition that breaks the ice. We can talk while we're playing, laugh when one of us completely fails at whatever we're doing, and there's no awkward "what do I do with my hands" moments because we're actually occupied. Plus, I get to see your competitive side come out, which tells me a lot more about you than any scripted dinner conversation would. Then afterwards, let's grab a bite to eat. Could be a casual spot, maybe tacos, burgers, pizza, whatever sounds good. Somewhere we can sit down and continue the conversation, recap the highlights of you absolutely destroying me at mini golf or whatever activity we did. I'll probably give you a hard time about it and insist on a rematch, but honestly I'm just looking for an excuse to see you again. The whole point is to keep things light and fun. First dates can be nerve wracking enough without all the formality and pressure. I'd rather we spend time laughing, being a little silly, and actually getting to know each other in a way that feels natural. If we're having a good time and the conversation flows easily while we're trying to knock down bowling pins or sink a hole in one, then that tells me everything I need to know. And if you end up kicking my butt at whatever we're doing? Even better. I can handle it, and we'll have a good story to tell. 😉

Let the man be a man. I like kind simple romantic gestures. Quirky too. Nothing emotional. Coffee is always good.
