My ideal 1st (or 2nd) date would be grabbing our hiking boots, our dogs, and hitting a trail. I've been to most of the State Parks in Minnesota and some trails along the Superior Hiking Trail. We have amazing scenery in our beautiful state.

I'm up for just about anything, but prefer something fun. It helps me not be as nervous. The date doesn't have to consist of anything costly. I'm perfectly happy going for a walk at the park, a museum, or anything else outdoors if the weather is nice. I don't like loud clubs or bars (too loud), or movies (too quiet) for the first date. It makes it too hard to talk, and get to know each other. Sports are not my thing, sorry. For safety reasons, I will meet you for the first couple of dates, because my daughter still lives with me.
