I had the impression from a blood test in 2007 that I had "Had" the virus but that it could be a false test. Never had any kind of symptom, and now that I have had an uncomfortable outbreak I am very sure were I definitely have it now, as the blood test said so this time as well. Now I definitely have it and there are obvious symptoms though mostly internal it's painful so I think I'd know if I had it before?
Check out this article, there is a greater than 50% chance that results of 3.5 or lower can be false positives. Besides the fact that i have been asymptotic and still had the thought of having this eating away at my soul for the past four months, there must be others of you who are unaware of this information and could maybe benefit by getting a repeated confirmatory test such as the two that I listed. Check out this article guys!
I have rarely had yeast infections but since contracting hsv2 3 months ago I have had 2 yeast infections. I do take daily valacyclovir because of OBs every week from the start.
I have found conflicting information online between hsv2 and yeast infections. I am also thinking that it may be internal OB :p So I take the recommended twice a day pills.
But does the yeast come back under control once your body is used to hsv2?
Yeast infections just add to the issue, so I am hoping they level out and go away, as its not healthy for the body to take yeast pills every month.
Just started a new relationship after being positive for 10 yrs. we both are positive and are going to have sex. Neither of us is interested in "protected" sex. We're rolling the dice and willing to accept the consequences. We have both been recently tested and are aware of each others results. Needless to say, I'm nervous as hell.
