I had the IgG Ab test done. I have never had the blisters that I read about as symptoms. My test results say <.9 which says negative but my doctor interpreted this as positive,for hsv2. I don't want to get my hopes up but I'm confused. Should I have another test to confirm the results?

Sorry blisters are not the only tell of hsv2, there's a hodgepodge of symptoms, some are so benign you would never think it is hsv2
I had a blood test, there is a test for 1 oral that was <1 is good for genital >5 is bad which I was 6 and 9 took it twice to make sure! Depressing... I think the blister test is the cadillac... but there are a couple of herpes tests one gives a lot of false negative readings...
