Can you still have kids ? And can they still be born with out herpes ?
You do not have to have a C section as long as you are not having an outbreak at the time of delivery. To prevent an outbreak at the time of delivery, it is recommended that your doctor have you taking Valtrex to reduce the chances of an outbreak happening.

You can still be pregnant and give birth, but if you have active lesions then you most likely will be advised to have a C-section. You can have vaginal births with HSV, but only if there are not active lesions. That's something that your medical staff will observe for before you give birth. All STIs should be screened prior to birth anyways as well as other common lab tests like complete blood counts, etc.
