Hi, I have HSV-2, which was diagnosed a few months ago after I had 3 blisters appear on my genitals. I am no longer with the partner that unknowingly gave it to me. I am wanting to get back on the dating scene, but am not sure what information to give a future sexual partner. If I enter in to a new relationship with a non infected partner, can I pass it on to them if I am not shedding? Can it be passed on if we have un-protected sex (down the track)?
