I wanted to share that I met my husband on this website. We are currently engaged and plan to marry 10/25. I wanted to share the details and that love still exists if you are not playing games.Our Love Story:
I noticed him, then winked (December 2018). He responded 1-3 days later and then agreed to meet within 12-14 days after matching 30-40 survey questions, chatting on the site, and talking on the phone. When we met at the restaurant, we were a little taken aback by each other's appearance but not in a bad way. I brought an inexpensive bottle a wine (his preference) and he paid for dinner under $75.00 including tip. Dinner was pleasant and I found out during dinner conversing it was a day before his birthday. Afterward, he went to his house, and I went to mine. We had follow-up calls to ensure both arrived home safely. The next day I texted then called to wish him a Happy Birthday. Our second date was Texas Roadhouse Super Bowl Sunday, January 2019. We only had an appetizer and a cocktail because he was headed to a friend's Superbowl party. The third date (February 2019 shortly before Valentine's Day 2019) was an AMC movie, brought our snacks from Dollar Tree and shared popcorn from the theater.
The first kiss happened toward the end of the third date after he asked permission. It was magical. Shortly afterward he made me dinner at his home, which was 75 miles away. We continued to date 2-3 times a month until he asked to be monogamous, (which I was already) I happily agreed.
We began our exclusive relationship in April 2019 and continued dating 75 miles apart and living in separate states. We visited each other on the weekend in separate locations until January 2023. We moved in together in January 2023 in a location less than 3 miles from our first date. He asked me to be his wife in July 2024 in our home along with our dog. It was personal and intimate. Exactly everything I hoped it would be. I love him and he loves me back. He has accepted me for who I am, and I accept him the same. Neither is perfect; however, our compatibility is divine. He understands me and I will always love him for that.
In seeking my partner: I was transparent, honest, and clear. I have the exact gift that I asked GOD for, and I couldn't be happier. Sometimes, it a good thing to tell someone the most troubling news first. I'm grateful that your website exists. I actually learned about this site approximately (or one similar to it) 20-25 years ago.
