No plans for marriage. We have been together almost 7 months. We corresponded for a few weeks before we met in person. Our first date was New Year's Eve day and we went hiking and out to lunch. Our second date was New Year's Day we took a motorcycle ride to a quaint town and did some window shopping and went out for lunch. He is the second serious boyfriend from the site. Both of them being long distance relationships. I think that the site is wonderful! The only draw back is that I live in a rural area and so the distance is always a factor in meeting men. More people need to be on the site, but that is of course your goal! I can't think of any changes that I would recommend. My tip to those trying to find someone is to be willing to go out of the box and meet someone who is not normally your type, and to just keep updating pictures and sending out winks and emails.
I have found a partner through the positive singles site. I am glad I took the time to check out the site and I believe it is a wonderful way of meeting people with similar condition. Thank you and I would recommend the positive singles dating site.
I found a great friend on here but I have found my future husband off line. We are very happy, and I want to thank you for having this website. It is really nice to know that there are others in the same boat as we are. Thanks again!
Patrick and I emailed for a day or two then the phone and two weeks later we had our first date. He was such a warm, gentle giant. The next week we went out again and I just fell in love. It's been a month and a half but I think I found the man of my dreams.
I've met a wonderful lady on this site. We're really excited about the future, where this will go. This was absolutely the best thing we could have done for ourselves, I hope that everyone on here has the same results, take care.
Thank you. We corresponded for about a week and a half before meeting. I traveled an hour to meet her in her home town for lunch and a hike. we had such a good time that i stayed for dinner, and after that we went out to catch a band. yes, we've talked about moving in together as well as marriage down the road :-).
We talked for a week on the phone. My sweetie drove 6.5 hrs to meet me on his 30th birthday. I was though we had known each other forever, I knew he was my husband. When wife came out his mouth my spirit leaped. He proposed before leaving well I ended up going out of town to his family union and meeting his family and annoucing our engagement! We will be married in three months. I love you boo.
We met and went on a traditional dinner and drinks date about 3 weeks after I initially emailed her. The date went well and we went out the next few weekends as well and it took off from there. Something new for me is that we text each other a lot. I didn't think I would like it at first but in reality that is how we got to know each other since we were too busy to spend more than a day or so a week together. We took a vacation last weekend and got engaged in Las Vegas. I want to say thank you to PS and the people on here that have helped me. It's not over just figure out what you want and take the steps needed to be in a position to get it. Once you are ready just meet as many other people as possible who are also ready and sooner or later you will find one that blows your mind like I did
The lady of my choice lives in California. I have not cleared this with her, so I do not want to use her name or city of residence.
We used email and phone for about 6 weeks, then I flew to CA to meet her . This meeting went very well, we continued email and phone, but more frequently and she flew here (Phoenix) last weekend. That also went very well. We discussed her retirement, the nature of our relationship, future tentative plans, and many other facets of our interaction.
Bottom line is our agreement that this is now an exclusive relationship, and there are plans for probable co-habitation within the next 6 to 12 months.
She winked at me,I replied, I called her and we spoke and met the next day and spent the day together and was yummy.
We spoke last night and spent the afternoon together today with plans to meet up in few days.
Bit early for marriage, pretty perfect .
I found a special someone on your site. Thank you..
Well, we talked for about a month before the meeting. Our first date was at a sushi restaurant. We had lunch, it went very well, so well we decide to head out to a local bar, than ended our night at a bowling alley. It was the longest date for both of us, 9 1/2 hrs long. It's been a little over six months and things couldn't be better. Our kids get along great, and were planning a Disney trip in the fall. Wedding plans? To early to even think about, but if it does happen I will be sure to let you know.
Thank you for bringing us together..
I am super happy to say, that on date number 1 I met someone that I connect with. Driving to see her on our first date I was nervous and filled with butterfly's.
As she walked out the door to meet me, she had me at "do you like sushi!?"
Because of some simple astrology I feel PS.com did a great job helping me focus on a few great matches rather than mess around with 100's
