We couldn't be happier

I had been on the site for a quite a while and had what two successful long-term relationships from the site prior to meeting Jeff. I was not the type to go "off site" and I never dated someone who wasn't "on the team". This site is the best place to meet other "similarly situated" people which takes so much of the stress out of it all. I would be lying if I didn't admit that I doubted at times that I would ever meet the right person, but patience, so my mother said, is a virture.

Jeff spotted me on the site and we emailed back and forth about five times before we decided to "take it live" with a phone call. We got along very well on the phone, he was really funny and sweet and we agreed to go on a date. We met for the first time on April 3, 2010 and the chemistry was pretty instananeous. We saw each other as often as we could in the first several weeks of dating. From the very beginning Jeff was so sure that we were meant to be together, even as early as our second date. We've all dated our share of people who weren't right and I was afraid to get my hopes up so I tried to keep things at a slow and steady pace. So much for that (smile) after about two months we planned a vacation to Scotland. Before I knew it, he had met my family, and I his. Four months later we were on our vacation in Scotland, and on the beach at St. Andrew's and he proposed. I was so shocked but it was right, it all just clicked. We are getting married on 9/10/11 and we couldn't be happier.
