It was a total fluke...or "destiny" but I met someone wonderful. I could not have found a more compatible person on the "outside" as this. We totally hit it off. We have common goals, backgrounds and ethics. We adore each other, make each other smile and we talk about a very long future together. I'm certain that this is the person I will spend the rest of my life with.
I found this to be a very helpful site. I first had contact with my now husband in june of 2005. We emailed and then talked for a couple of weeks before we met. we met down in Seattle for our first date which lasted about 10 hours. After that we started having weekly dates and talking on the phone more and more. We ended up getting married in October of 2007. What really helped was that we lived only 35 miles from each other which made it easy to date. Your web site was great in that I had a lot of interested members to talk to and meet. I made sure before I met my huband to that we met in a public place for several dates before we were alone together. The dates worked out really well. It also helped that we were the same age and had the same interest in life. My husband was the one that lived in Smokey Point, WA with the caption "single for too long."
My short story is here. We live different country US and Europ, but originally we are the same country. We have email and telephone conversation every day. I know him around one and half month. Then I invited him to come and see me because I trusted him very much, he came here and we spend the time together day and night for 10 days, then I like him, he like me the way he think and everything. I am going to visit him September. Yes, we have a plan to marriage next year.

I met him May 11th on Positivesingles. Our first phone conversation that night was 6 hours long, We live in 2 different states but he travels for his job, we met about 10 days later and just clicked, we have been together ever since.
