FORTUNATELY, I HAVE FOUND SOMEONE ON THIS SITE WHO I AM NOW IN A SERIOUS RELATIONSHIP WITH. WE ARE PLANNING TO GET MARRIED 2011. I connected with Arrows2009 on your site. We chatted constatntly throughout the day through your site then via private email. About three weeks in we met for lunch ... clicked ... and the rest is, as they say "history". We are both golfers, so after our initial lunch, we found meeting on the golf course would be an excellent way to enjoy time with one another without the pressure of any after dinner "expectations". It's been wonderful so far, but it's definitley too early to talk marriage.

Thank you for providing the PositiveSingles site to those of us who have to deal with unfortunate circumstances. Although neither of us discusses our 'situation', both of us feel the relief of not having to worry about exposing others nor do we have to fear the disclosure aspect that must eventually come in a new relationship.

Sincerely ... Cricket49 and Arrows2009

My girlfriend was new to the area and initially contacted me just looking for some companionship, someone to hang out with, an activity partner, etc. She wasn't looking for a relationship. I was. We emailed a couple times, talked a couple times and first met to go hiking in January 2009. We went out two or three times, did some outdoors activities together and soon discovered that we were looking for different things. We then went our separate ways.

I got bored of the dating scene and contacted her again in July 2009, we got together in August 2009, and have been together since. We're outdoorsy people, so we enjoy a lot of outdoor activities together, along with being a couple of geeks--we like to do crossword puzzles together, she'll kick my butt in a game of dominoes, we've played Scrabble a couple times and each won once. I'd like to say we play nicely together.

We've both got pretty busy schedules that sometimes don't mesh, so we make the most of what time ... Read Full Story>>

After a few months of being a gold member, I met someone who intrigues me, We has a lot in common with me, and gives me no reason to keep searching at this time. Thanks, positivesingles. We corresponded for about two weeks, and because we were relative close, I could drive in an hour to meet...on a Friday night, we just sat down and had coffee at a Starbucks. take your time... sometimes just being a pen pal can get you through the loneliness... eventually somebody will match up because new people are coming and going all the time on the site...I was a non-member for several months, and then became a gold member so I could interact, and found a person who matches right up with many aspects of my life, enough to cancel my monthly membership and hide my profile (for now) as this is enough for me right now. Thanks for providing this service. Regards, BOO
