Gene and I met on the site last November. We corresponded online for a month before we met for our first date. We had an instant connection that has only gotten stronger during the past 9 months that we've been dating. We really took the time to get to know each other which I think has been the main reason our love is so strong. We are truly a perfect match for each other and I am so blessed to have finally found happiness in the best relationship I've ever been in. As far as future plans go, only time will tell, but I'm confident that I've found the person that will be my partner through the rest of this life :)

Advice to other members:

Hang in there. I've gotten so many e-mails from such great people who are having a tough time finding someone right for them. Just keep putting yourself out there without expectations and focus on making a new friend. If there is more there, it will come through. Good luck to all of you!

I have never been into the long distance dating thing, but sometimes you have to take the chance otherwise you never know. It was such a random act that brought us together, but what we both found together is far from random. We are still living in two separate states (I'm in Southern California, he's in Colorado), but with video skype, phones, texts and as frequent as possible visits we make it work. It's all about communication and we had a month and a half to just talk before we met. I'm planning on moving to Colorado next year and can't wait to be around him every day.
I'm so grateful to this site and the people I have met. It took a emotionally and pyschologically devastating situation and turned it into a wonderful thing. Thank you so much!!

Advice to other members:

Sometimes when things seem the hardest you learn the most about yourself. Don't give up and keep fighting....we ALL deserve to be loved and to be happy.

So Happy  (Dating)

We met back in March on this website. We sent e-mails back and forth then talked on the phone for hours before finally meeting in person. The chemistry between was was right on target. I haven't laughed so much in my life till I met him. I thought me and My group of friends would be too much for him to handle but to my surprise he fit right in like he was one of us. I couldn't imagine what life would be like now without him as part of it. I know no matter what happens between us at this point we will always be a part of each others lives.

Advice to other members:

My Advice.....HONESTY......You have to know what you want in life and what you are doing to let your partner know and vice versa. Yes the truth can hurt but it is so much easier to deal with and find a solution to the problem if you are honest. I have never been in such a "real " relationship like I am now.

Like many people, I thought I would never date again after I found out I had herpes. I was 19 when I contracted it from an assault. I felt so alone. I began to see someone when I was 21 who didn't have it. When I told him he freaked. He obviously wasn't for me. I had never even met anyone else that had an STD. So I decided to find people myself and came across this site ps.com. Andrew contacted me on here within my first 3 week on. He lived far away but was moving to my town for work. When he finally got here we were strictly friends for 2 months. It felt so good knowing that he wanted to get to know me for me, and didn't just want to be with me because I happened to share the same virus. We finally started officially seeing each other in April of 2010. We may have only been together for a few months but this is the happiest I have been in years. I’m not ashamed anymore, love my body again, and know I will never feel alone again. I'm hopeful for our future but no matter what I know lif... Read Full Story>>

Love will find you when you least expect. I had no idea someone wonderful would wink at me from 1200 miles away. Not only did he wink at me, but he swept me off my feet!!! Our first meeting took place in Phoenix, it was the most romantic and easy love that two people could have created. It was so incredible, that I forgot about our "gift, that keeps on giving" having herpes. It was a blessing to have met such a wonderful gentleman!!! Thank you cupid and Positive Singles!!! Our journey is just beginning. We are looking forward to our engagement, marriage, children, and grandchildren. We will keep you postcard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
