The user I am seeing now is nke0f8 from the same part of Colorado as me. I noticed she is into snowboarding, so i started talking to her. About a week later or so i rode my mountain bike over to house to meet her before she went out to do something. We talked for about an hour that day and then she headed out. After that we continued talking on a daily basis, and began seeing each other more and more. Currently we have been dating for a couple months, but nothing official yet. I will keep you guys up to date on any significant change. Right now we are just taking things slow. Thanks again.

Time is everything  (Dating)
I met him about 7 years ago on this website. We exchanged emails, then started instant messaging then web chat and eventually started talking on the phone........This has been going on for 7 years over the years we've gone through break ups and changes in jobs, changes in residence, family problems, weight loss, weight gain, college ect. I've always had a connection with him and he's always called me his what -if. It was all about timing when I was single he was in a relationship and vice versa. Now we are both single and have been for a while and instead of putting off that visit. He lives in FL and me in CA 3,000 miles away he is coming to see me in 2 weeks......I can't believe i'm going to actually see him in 2 weeks I'm so excited he's all I think about and when you think I would be nervous there are no nerves.....I know him so well and I am so comfortable with him that everything just seems natural with him... I love him and I've never met him. I can't wait for my what-if to get ... Read Full Story>>

Advice to other members:

Take your time and get to know the other person it is defiantly worth it.

Met someone on your website and have been dating now for just over 2 years. Glad this site is here. Thanks. We corresponded for a couple of weeks before we met for a coffee at Boston Pizza. The coffee date lasted for about 2 - 2 1/2 hours. We talked about everything under the sun and when we parted, he asked if he could call me again. We met for dinner a few nights later and the rest is history. There are no plans for marriage, just day by day as our lives are very busy.

Positive Singles is a great site and without it I wouldn't have met this great guy. Thanks again.

let's see....where do i start. I actually made the initial first wink in august 2009. i had met others on the site but none of them had any relationship potential. so when i winked at my love and he responded, we started communicating. I was looking for someone who was close to me as in distance. we were living approximately 20 miles away. i believe we finally met in person about a week later and we have been together since. we had some issues in the beginning but managed to work through them. i don't know if i really have any tips to give except if you know you have met "the one" then you will make it work. i knew that he was the one just by the way we connected. i cant really explain the feeling but i just knew. i don't know if marriage is in the future but we are currently trying to have a family....if GOD's willing. we love each other so much and i know we will be together for a long time.....because we both want it to work. i have to say i had already given up on finding my true l... I know that Jason wrote you with a bit of feedback about the site and I'd echo his comments on giving people a bit of a trial for full-services to both entice and engender trust in the service. I would have been hesita(especially in Ireland where embarrassment and an underlying denial that STIs exist, or that you should admit that you have been infected, is rife.) I eventually decided that, as I had always been forthcoming with people I dated, I could be forthcoming on a site specifically for STIs. And,really,
if people were on there for the wrong reasons - that's their issue, not mine. I think, however, the site does provide a comfortable atmosphere for people to find friends/partners who can relate to things they are going, or have gone, through. Now, as for how I met who I believe is the love of my life -- here's my take on our story:

Though I have never gone through a "why me" stage following the discovery that I was infected with two STIs, I did wonder whether I woul... Read Full Story>>
