After many years of proactively looking for the one. I finally decided to take a new path. I decided to work on myself and become the person I wanted to be whilst in a relationship rather than focusing on what I could get out of a relationship. I enrolled in a course called Avatar which is about exploring consciousness and discovering any limiting beliefs which hold us back in our lives and I began working on being the best person, friend and partner I could be. It was important to me to have integrity with my dating so I utilized Positive Singles while I was working on myself. My future partner, Brandon was doing the same thing (that is doing self development but through the Oneness University) at the same time. Using the Avatar tools I set a goal to meet my life partner who was on the same path as me. A couple of days later I got an email from Brandon from the Positive Singles website. It was the most beautiful, genuine, amazing message I had received in my life. I was blown away. I ... Read Full Story>>

Advice to other members:

This website is cool but is just the first step. Find yourself before you go looking for someone to fulfill you. Write a list of all the qualities you want to develop and experience in yourself.
If you still feel that you haven't dealt with your experience around getting an STI then get help with this - don't take this into your relationship expecting it to be all ok just because the other person has the same STI.
Love yourself and be grateful for everything - that positive energy will attract the right person to you.
Always be honest about your condition and be open to the idea that you may meet someone special who doesn't have the same condition as you - there is a great deal of compassion and unconditional love in the world - let it into your heart.

We met on positive singles about six months ago, decided to meet in person and later ended up moving in together. Even though this site doesn't exactly match you with people like eharmony or match.com, it was like we were perfect for each other. We've been together for over six months now and have fallen in love. We both agree that this is the best time of our lives, just because of each other!

Advice to other members:

Keep your head up, everything will turn out fine as long as you keep a healthy attitude. You're NOT alone!

I met someone on your site. She is pretty amazing. This site was great. I was only on it a couple of weeks too. I would suggest this service to anybody.

It was pretty easy. I was only on for about 1 week. Once I posted my photos, I got more responses. Everybody I chatted with was really nice, but there was one really good one. I had viewed her profile, but didn't try to contact her. Well, she saw that I viewed her and she sent me an email. Our profiles were very similar. After emailing back and forth for a few days, we discovered that we had many morethings in common. We started talking on the phone then. Again, things just seemed to be getting better. We actually met for the first time a couple of days ago. Just like the emails and phone calls, the date was great. We both decided to end our accounts with your site. There just wasn't a need to keep them open. I truly thank you for your service. It was just so shocking how fast it all happened. Thanks again thou... Read Full Story>>

I am not interested in dating anyone, I simply wanted to post a letter to the creators of this site for all who might be skeptikal of the outcome as I was.

After logging on and posting my photo I met 2 people, the first of whom did not work out. I sensed she was dealing with her demons in a way i had as a person living with hiv many years ago.

Then my friend/lover/and wife arrived! I picked her up at Laguardia airport and we have lived a dream ever since! my lonely and dreary life was made whole when our 2 completely healthy were born! That was 5 years ago! Our children even brought us closer together! This is simply a note of thanks, a message of faith in what could happen in your life if you are open to the possibilities!

Thank you positivesingles team

Sinceely- Mr and Mrs positive and in love.

I am an HSV positive girl and posted an ad previously, had no luck then took it down. I reposted an ad a few months later, and got quite a few responses. More than the last time I had posted. It seems as though there are more people, which is great! I was browsing through the profiles when I first reposted the ad, and came across this profile that really grabbed me. The man in the profile is HIV positive, but something in me just wanted to say hi at the very least and maybe have a conversation with the guy. He responded, and we emailed for a few days, then he wanted me to call him to talk. I was really nervous at first and a bit hesitant, but decided to call him just to see, we ended up having a great conversation, which turned into an entire week of talking every day for at least 3-4 hours a day. We made plans to meet up this weekend, and when we met, we hit it off so well. We feel so connected with each other and both believe we are destined to be together. We have so much in common,...
