We both made mistakes that lead us to this point... but it was what was we needed to get into each others arms. I thank every challenge we encountered because without them, we wouldn't be the couple we are today.

what we had first thought of as a curse, turned out to be a blessing! Though some moments can be rough, we're there for eachother through everything.

Dont give up!!! It seems hopeless at first, but theres a match out there for everyone. Love is definitely worth waiting for. Trust me, we know. Good Luck!!
I've always heard people say "I knew it the second I saw him (or her)" when describing how they felt when they met the person they would love and/or end up marrying. I'm here to testify that's exactly what does take place. When I looked into Albert's eyes I saw my future. There's really no guess work involved when it's "the one." There are no games. There are no acts. There's just that solid feeling down to your bone that the person is into you just as much as you are into them. Yes it's chemistry, but more fundamentally there's mutual trust, respect and there's a desire for immediate commitment when you find the one. Albert made sure that we both didn't settle for anything less than this. He's a solid keeper.
I actually made contact with him thru this site earlier this year. He sent me a message and i replied. We went out once. we got along fine.. but i guess life got in the way and so did the distance (7 hours apart). But then he contacted me again one day (~6 month later). and we met again. So this time we are doing a long distance dating. and things are pretty nice & we like one another. Now we are just dating long distance and will see how things go! :o) Thank you!!
After many years of proactively looking for the one. I finally decided to take a new path. I decided to work on myself and become the person I wanted to be whilst in a relationship rather than focusing on what I could get out of a relationship. I enrolled in a course called Avatar which is about exploring consciousness and discovering any limiting beliefs which hold us back in our lives and I began working on being the best person, friend and partner I could be. It was important to me to have integrity with my dating so I utilized Positive Singles while I was working on myself. My future partner, Brandon was doing the same thing (that is doing self development but through the Oneness University) at the same time. Using the Avatar tools I set a goal to meet my life partner who was on the same path as me. A couple of days later I got an email from Brandon from the Positive Singles website. It was the most beautiful, genuine, amazing message I had received in my life. I was blown away. I ...

I never actually expected anything to come out of being on this website. He had seen my profile and it was love at first sight / read for him. He was living in the US and I was based in Australia but that didn't worry him so he shared his heart with me without any concerns for if we would ever meet or not. Interestingly enough I was in Florida with Avatar at the time of receiving his email so after a couple of weeks of speaking online and on the phone we decided to meet before I flew back to Australia. Brandon flew from Park City, Utah to Orlando to meet me. The goal I had was to meet my life partner by the 31st of October 2008 and Brandon and I met each other in person at 11.45pm on the 31st of October. The moment I saw him I knew he was the one. We were in love and talking about our future together before we'd even kissed. It was an old fashioned love story using modern day technology. Long-story-short Brandon asked me to stay in the US with him and I said yes. I'm still here and we're talking about getting married soon. When you know you just know. Thank you Positive Singles for being part of our love story. I know Brandon and I were meant to be together but I'm not sure how we would have met without this website.
Advice to other members:
This website is cool but is just the first step. Find yourself before you go looking for someone to fulfill you. Write a list of all the qualities you want to develop and experience in yourself. If you still feel that you haven't dealt with your experience around getting an STI then get help with this - don't take this into your relationship expecting it to be all ok just because the other person has the same STI. Love yourself and be grateful for everything - that positive energy will attract the right person to you. Always be honest about your condition and be open to the idea that you may meet someone special who doesn't have the same condition as you - there is a great deal of compassion and unconditional love in the world - let it into your heart.
We met on positive singles about six months ago, decided to meet in person and later ended up moving in together. Even though this site doesn't exactly match you with people like eharmony or match.com, it was like we were perfect for each other. We've been together for over six months now and have fallen in love. We both agree that this is the best time of our lives, just because of each other!
