Thank you! I winked at ShawnNoffy and he replied with an e-mail the next day. We e-mailed back and forth for a couple of days through the site, then started talking. We talked for about 3 weeks before deciding to meet in person. For our first date I went to his apartment complex and then he took me to dinner. It was very awkward at first because this was the first time I had met someone online, but we spent a couple of hours at dinner and had a great time, then made plans to see each other again the next weekend. We've been dating for just over 5 months now so I'm not in a hurry to get married, but I am hoping to get a job that's about 12 hours from where I live now and he will be moving with me. Eventually we plan to marry and start a family.

I left our success story and some advice to users because this site was immensely helpful in my coping with herpes and I know I would not be nearly as happy as I am today without the help of this service.

We talked through email and telephone for about three weeks before meeting. We were very compatible so we could not wait to meet eachother. Things just fell together naturally, it did not feel forced. We first met at a coffee shop to see how things went. Things went great and coffee turned into dinner that evening. Way too soon for marriage, however, he is amazing and we are a couple.

I found someone super special on your site. He's caring, handsome, funny and appreciates me and makes me feel good. I was skeptical and first, but after getting to know each other and spending time together I'm so grateful he came into my life.

I was in a really dark place before, and I kept thinking....I just need something good in my life right now and then I met him! We met back in early February, so its only been a few months....but I just get butterflies when I see him or even think about him. My friends have said I feel this way because its new and exciting....but I've dated lots before and the feeling is incomparable.

Since being diagnosed with HSV, I have only told 2 females (both non-positive). The first girl accepted it and we did hook up but she decided she wasn't over her ex, and I was okay with this since we were more of friends.

I am currently seeing a very attractive, educated, passionate young lady and she is absolutely all for pursuing a relationship with me even with my condition.

I am not saying I am a bad-looking guy by any means... but the moral of my story is that out of the girls I told about my condition, ALL of them were fine by it. I think they found my honesty one of the most attractive qualities. So keep the faith and keep living life! There is hope out there.

Yes, I've met someone special, albeit she lives in another country, but at least it's a close neighbour and it will be possible to travel to see each other regularly.
