This site was a helpful "guide" into the world of STD dating! That being said, it was also a helpful intro for a newbie into the realm Internet dating. To have a common ground item to start off with in getting to know someone, takes away a nervousness of sorts away. Over time that broke down the stigma over the way I myself viewed "our secret/secrets". I gained the insight into sharing with a long time friend (not a site member) whom I've cherished forever! My disclosing of my secret put her mind at ease as to why I never pursued a relationship with her, since we always agreed we seemed so compatible. I met my special someone about a month ago on positive singles, we met and have been seeig each other since. We both have children and we introduced them to one another jut this week and things went great. I can't wait to share more great moments together with our families.
Advice to other members:
DO not pick the first individual who comes along, finding the right one takes time but it can and does happen. Patience is the most important thing to have.
This is the first time I joined an online site since my divorce. I picked this site because I was afraid to be rejected. I met F9r160 twenty one days after I was on this site. He emailed me and I reply. We started emailing each other in this site then finally decided to talk on the phone a week later.About two weeks later we decided to meet each other and from then on we are inseparable.He lives 3 hours away but I guess distance is not a factor in love. Every obstacle we overcome brings us closer to each other. It's been a couple of months already and we are still so much in love with each other and hope to spend the rest of our lives together someday.
