I did meet someone on this site and we are going to see where things go.
Well, looks like my "match" sent an initial email to me on Mar 30 of this year and we corresponded by email for about a month and a half which is typically not my preferred method of communication. We eventually met in person on 5/4 but we talked on the phone several times prior to meeting as well which helped seal the deal. He lives two hours away from where I lived so that was another obstacle to meeting in person.

We met at the "North Market" which is next door to where I live here in Columbus. TheNorth Market is a consortium of local food vendors under one roof... so we grabbed a bite to eat, got some ice cream and then went to see a movie. Two weeks later we met up again at a music festival and the following week we went to an art show... as it goes the rest is history. We really clicked.

He's a great guy and we are so happy that your site brought us together.

Thanks so much

We met in 2010, and had a short affair then. At first, we were just really happy to be able to have sex at all, because we thought those days were behind us, and we wrote our thing off as a fling. We each met other people, but stayed in touch, and a friendship developed. When our other relationships petered out, things heated up between us, and it's been great for two solid years.
No plans for marriage. One interesting thing: we both found that the people we met on this site were incredibly good at discussing sex. Maybe because we've had to confront the consequences of not thinking about it properly.

Great site. I was introduced to the love of my life by a friend who actually had met him on this site. They ended up great friends and she was kind enough to think of me as someone who would be a great fit for me and vice versa. Turns out we are! We had our first meeting on Dec 15, 2012 and just did commitment vows on June 15, 2013 and
plan to sign an official marriage license one year from that date! Thanks!

We met online on another website in 2012. This year in March 2013 we went through our first HSV2 o.b.'s together. I thought he gave it to me. He thought I gave it to him.(Turns out I may have had HSV2 for years without symptoms.) Then he just took off to Europe to get away and to sort through all of this. That was over 6 weeks ago. When he took off I was devastated, and I that's when I found this website. What I really found helpful were the posts and the blogs on this site. I had a couple of dates from here, but it turned out that I just wasn't over my relationship with my guy. It was nearly 2 months and I couldn't figure out what had happened for sure, if he was ok, etc. I remained cool, and stayed "quiet." I thought that it was probably over. Well, he came back to me, and he and I are now working through things again, and getting "tight" (his words). Who knows--this time might be the charm! It feels a little new all over again, and maybe a little shaky sometimes. But I'm ... Read Full Story>>
