We corresponded back and forth via email and discovered we had many mutual interests including writing and photography among many others. Soon he was sharing his book he had researched and written and it just blossomed from there. When we met it was exciting! and the current was right there between us.
These many months have made our relationship grow even stronger as we have learned so much about each other. His favorite comment is that he has never laughed so much since meeting me. And its no wonder! I thought his PS screenname had to do with a real Screaming Eagle which caught my eye as I do love Native American culture - and then he told me that Screamingeagle had to do with a motorcycle part - what did I know right?

I am not interested in dating anyone, I simply wanted to post a letter to the creators of this site for all who might be skeptikal of the outcome as I was.
After logging on and posting my photo I met 2 people, the first of whom did not work out. I sensed she was dealing with her demons in a way i had as a person living with hiv many years ago.
Then my friend/lover/and wife arrived! I picked her up at Laguardia airport and we have lived a dream ever since! my lonely and dreary life was made whole when our 2 completely healthy were born! That was 5 years ago! Our children even brought us closer together! This is simply a note of thanks, a message of faith in what could happen in your life if you are open to the possibilities!
After years of trying to come to terms with my diagnosis, I decided to join the site to meet people in the same situation as me. After a few not so stellar dates, I was ready to completely give up hope of finding some one I could really connect with. So, when wwalker sent me a wink, I did not respond immediately. Eventually after a few more e-mail exchanges, we set up a date and time to meet.
Little did I know that that one date would forever change my life. It was amazing. Great conversation, a romantic stroll, my fate sealed with a kiss. I could not believe my luck. I had met a handsome, intelligent, funny man who understood exactly what I was going through.
It has been almost two months since that fateful day, and although we live in different cities, we have spent every weekend together since. I have never been happier. We will live in the same city soon enough...
Advice to other members:
Never give up hope of finding love. It is important to know what you do and don't want. That way when someone truly special walks into your life, you will be able to recognize him/her. Good Luck!
Your services are great! We both reside in North Carolina. Our interests and goals in life were so similar that we both agreed that what we saw in each other was different. One thing about the criteria section u guys have is that you have to tell the truth or else it will make meeting "that one" difficult. We met just 8 days of communicating and have had a blast every since.We both are divorced and have a great deal of respect for one another.Just everything is different about this relationship and it feels just "great!". We corresponded off and on in the beginning as I was on another site as well and chatting to whom I thought may be a committed relationship for me - when that ended, I became disheartened at first, and then something told me to contact PS again and try to reconnect with him. I did just that - I rewinked at him - he winked back - and that was the beginning of our forever love story!
I total - chat time would be about 3 weeks to a month every single day! Then we started skyping as well and when we could visually see each other, the magic happened immediately!
We met each other face to face at my apartment - he wanted me to be comfortable in my surroundings and this way my friends felt safer about this meeting as well!! I don't have girlfriends - I have extra Mothers!! :) and I love them for it - but they appreciated that I wasn't having to go and meet him anyw...

Our meet just took place this past long weekend.... He arrived on the Friday night and attended a family wedding with me that weekend! (What a trooper!!)
We are just beginning our journey together - talk of marriage is not at the forefront at this time - I do know that I love him more than I would think possible and he says the same of me.... we will just have to wait and see what happens.... I was married for 24 years, and he has been married twice before...... and we both say to each other that this love feels like what our first one should have been!!! So who knows, right?!
